Charm of Traditional Shading in David Salisbury Orangery
This timber orangery in the Oxfordshire countryside features traditional Genuine French Pinoleum blinds – all motorised and controlled through the push of button using a remote control handset with the option to control all or part of the roof as required. All blinds were custom painted in a bespoke colour, to complement the Corn White paint finish of the orangery.
Working together with David Salisbury from the drawing stage meant that necessary provisions were made to conceal the wiring for more than 40 blinds and minimise the impact of the blinds above the Cornice when not in use. The French Pinoleum blinds create an almost magical relaxing feel as can be seen in this video.
